Google SketchUp Pro 7 is Developing to the Direction of Building Information Modeling

SketchUp is slowly moving away from being a simple 3d modeling tool to the much more complex building information modeling (BIM).

SketchUp Pro 7.0 contains the following new features:

* Dynamic Components: Create components with parametric behaviors like a stair which automatically adds more steps when resized or a cabinet whose doors can open and close.
* Assign your own attributes to components and generate tabular reports from your sketchUp models.
* 2D Edges: Two lines crossing in a single plane will break into four segments at their point of intersection.
* Component browser support for 3D-galerie: The components browser allows you to find and download models and collections right inside form SketchUp Pro.
* LayOut 2.0: Provides simple tools to place, arrange, title and annotate SketchUp models to assemble presentation and documentation graphics for print and screen. The additional
program has got new features like working with vector rendering, editable paths and many more.
* StyleBuilder 1.0: Create your own personal drawing style for SketchUp Pro.
